How much will it cost?

Nick and David are keen that a dignified funeral can also be an affordable one. On this page we give you an idea of what the funeral will cost.
No two people are the same so we also offer a bespoke service. You may want a different style coffin, maybe cardboard, bamboo, a picture coffin or solid wood. It may be that you want a horse drawn hearse, a VW hearse a motorbike hearse or even a woodland burial. Please feel free to contact us and discuss the options available to tailor the service to suit the wishes of your loved one. We will provide you with a clear estimate for your peace of mind.

Traditional Cremation Service with Limousine

With this package, you will benefit from the professional services of our funeral director and all necessary arrangements. We will take your loved one into our care* at any time day or night and look after them until the funeral. This package includes: an oak veneered coffin, a cortege of hearse and limousine leaving the home to the Crematorium on the day of the Funeral and returning you to home or reception venue, viewing in the Chapel of Repose. Crematorium Fee, the cost of a Celebrant/Minister, bearers and the Collection of names of mourners.

Traditional Cremation service with Wicker or Seagrass Coffin and Limousine

With this package, you will benefit from the professional services of our funeral director and all necessary arrangements. We will take your loved one into our care* at any time day or night and look after them until the funeral. This package includes: a wicker or seagrass coffin, a hearse and Limousine leaving the home to the Crematorium on the day of the Funeral, bearers, viewing in the Chapel of Repose. Crematorium Fee, the cost of a Celebrant/Minister and the Collection of names of mourners.

Direct Graveside Service

Cost: £1,499 Plus Disbursements

As an example a graveside service for someone who lives in Roche parish in a new grave in Roche Cemetery, including our fees above £2,356.

We will take your loved one into our care* at any time day or night and look after them until the funeral. This package includes: an oak veneered coffin. A cortege of hearse and limousine leaving the home to the Church and Cemetery on the day of the Funeral and returning you to your home or reception venue. Viewing in the Chapel of Repose. It also includes Bearers and the Collection of names of mourners.

With this package, you will benefit from the professional services of our funeral director and all necessary arrangements. We will take your loved one into our care* at any time day or night and look after them until the funeral. This package includes: a coffin, a hearse leaving the home to the service at the Church or Chapel and then onto the Crematorium, bearers, viewing in the Chapel of Repose, the Church fee and the Collection of names of mourners.

Simple Cremation Service

With this package, you will benefit from the professional services of our funeral director and all necessary arrangements. We will take your loved one into our care* at any time day or night and look after them until the funeral. This package includes: a simple coffin, transporting your loved one, in a hearse, to a Cornish Crematorium on the day of the Funeral; Crematorium fee, necessary bearers, viewing in the Chapel of Repose during office hours, Doctors fee, our celebrant to take the service and 30 Order of Services.

Direct Cremation No Service - £995

This is the most basic of packages and includes all the dignity of other plans. With this package, you will benefit from the professional services of our funeral director and all necessary arrangements. This package includes: a simple coffin, transporting your loved one to the Crematorium**.

Total Cost: £995***

This package does not include a service and mourners are not able to attend.

*** This price is if your loved one is in the care of the Coroner. If not then there are statutory Doctors fees to pay of £82.

If your loved one needs to be taken into our care from a home address, hospice, care home or hospital without full mortuary facilities there is a charge of £200.

Babies and Children - No Charge

We make no charges for a NVF, Stillborn or child up to and including 17 years old.

Our services, the services of the crematorium and most officiants are free.

* Cornwall and Plymouth, if your loved one is outside this area there will be an additional cost.

** The Crematorium is chosen by the funeral director. If you wish to elect a particular crematorium there may be an additional charge.

For most funerals we expect payment within 21 days of the Funeral. For a Direct Cremation payment must be made prior to the funeral taking place.
