What is a Direct Cremation ?

The cremation usually takes place within two to three weeks at Glynn Valley in Bodmin, and your loved one’s ashes will be carefully returned to you shortly afterwards. This allows you to create a fitting tribute in your own time.
This simple option still carries the same respect and care as any traditional service. You can trust that your loved one will be cared for gently, as if they were our own.

We’ll ask a few simple questions, such as where your loved one is resting, so we can bring them into our care as soon as possible.
Our role is to make things easier for you, carrying out your wishes and keeping you informed at every stage. Unlike national providers where you may only deal with call centres, we’re local and here to meet with you in person if you’d prefer.
We’ll take the time you need, with care and compassion, to help make this difficult process as gentle as possible.
Our price of £1,095 comes with all our personal care and attention and this total price includes:
Bringing into our care your loved one (within the Cornwall and Plymouth area - 40 miles from our funeral home) at any time day or night.
Our care of them at our funeral home until the funeral.
